Are you a teacher or an administrator? How did you hear about us? Maybe you have a student who wants Sold Out to come to come to his/her classroom. Or maybe a peer of yours recommended Sold Out. No matter the reason, here’s the low-down.
Middle school and high school can be tough. There are a lot of choices to be made—ones that can impact each student’s future. The staff of Sold Out would like to help you navigate these choices with your students.
Sold Out is a Sexual Risk Avoidance program that serves 6-12 grade students in Stark County at no cost. It’s existed for 36 years serving schools without any charge under the umbrella of Pregnancy Support Center which is now called Pregnancy Choices.
The program is designed to come alongside educators, youth leaders and parents to empower young people to make healthy choices.
Presenters are available for 4-day classroom presentations that are research-based, medically accurate and age-appropriate. Using discussion and interactive demonstrations, Sold Out presenters teach students how to build healthy relationships and grasp the benefits of sexual abstinence at this time in their lives. All presentations are adaptable to your classroom schedule.
Each grade level covers different topics to ensure age-appropriate. And, each grade level can stand alone, but Sold Out is most effective when all grade levels (6-12 grades) are implemented in an entire school district.
To schedule a presentation or for further questions, you can email us or call 330.455.7500 ext. 127.
Youth group presentations and local community organization talks are also available.
