Healing from Grief
Refuge: My Safe Place
What do we do when the unexpected turns our life upside down? How do we weather the storms?
Storms of life come in many unpredictable ways: death of a loved one, divorce, job loss, diagnosis of an illness, loss of motherhood, infidelity, hurts from or within the church, a disappointing marriage, a spouse with addictions, domestic violence and much more.
Refuge: My Safe Place provides a refuge from life storms and a safe place to heal.
Lead by caring, trained facilitators who have weathered through their own personal journey to healing, this 9-week study group will help you work through your emotions, provide an anchor that can hold you steady, and help you regain your footing.
*Facilitators are not professional licensed counselors. Referrals are available upon request. Although there may be a slight cost for materials, all groups are free to attend.
Woven in Grace
Is adoption part of your story? While adoption is the most self-sacrificing option a woman can choose, it can be filled with emotions ranging from bitter to sweet. Woven in Grace, a 6-week support group for birthmothers, is designed to help women reflect on their adoption experience and explore issues surrounding their adoptions.
*Woven in Grace is sometimes, but not always, led by a birthmother. Facilitators are not professional licensed counselors. Referrals available upon request.
